Safety monitoring & incident review

Purpose and limits

Safety monitoring, when available and enabled, supports private driving coaching and incident review during disclosed duty periods. It is not a guarantee of safe driving, a medical or emergency service, or proof that an incident occurred. No automatic emergency response is promised.

Permissions and recording

Location permission alone does not prove usable samples were collected or accepted by the server. Offline state, device settings, operating-system limits, permissions, and collection errors can reduce coverage. Permission, local collection, upload confirmation, and coverage are different indicators. A missing measurement does not mean a perfect or poor score.

Coaching and possible-impact detection

Coaching and possible-impact detection have separate notices and availability. A possible impact is a signal needing review, not a confirmed crash. Speed-limit and phone-distraction measurements are unavailable unless explicitly supported in your app.

Choices and data handling

Review the applicable feature notice and consent choices before enabling collection. Stopping future collection does not itself delete previously retained records. See platform privacy notice and deletion help. Required ride and driver records follow the Florida minimums described in the privacy notice. Retention also depends on the record type, its purpose, and applicable preservation obligations.

Report an incident

Call 911 for immediate danger. Once safe, use safety support or in-app Help. Provide the trip reference, time, factual description, and a safe way to contact you. Preserve relevant information safely; do not investigate while driving.

Review and corrections

An authorized reviewer should consider reports, coverage, device limitations, and relevant responses before a conclusion. Ask support to correct inaccurate information or reconsider an outcome. Automated signals alone must not be presented as confirmed fault. No unverified report should be described publicly as a proven incident.
